Raiders sign NBL experienced point guard Ben Ayre

The Knox Raiders NBL1 men's team continues to come together, this time adding a point guard with NBL experience in Ben Ayre.

Ayre had signed on for the 2020 NBL1 South season before it was cancelled, but has stuck with the club and will suit up in the navy and gold for this season.

Coach Dom Linossier is looking forward to what Ayre can bring on the floor, but also knows he can have a huge impact off the floor too.

"Ben has demonstrated that he’s an elite character guy and player," Linossier said. 

"Benny is creative, knows what it takes to succeed at the top level, and his leadership qualities shine through as a point guard.

"We know he’s ready for the next step to the NBL, and are stoked to have him onboard in 2021."
