Sydney Comets (89) defeated Hills Hornets (64)
It all starts with Davida Dale, leading the charge with 28 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals. The former Mackay superstar dominated the floor and gave the team their eighth win of the season.
While Piper Anderson also made a significant impact with 19 points, including five triples. The team's defence was the difference-maker, significantly outrebounding the Hornets and capitalising on turnovers, scoring 14 points from Hills' mistakes.

Despite a solid effort from Meg Jefferson, who scored 16 points and Rachel McLimore's 15 points, the Hornets struggled throughout the game. Committing 23 turnovers and shooting only 20 percent from the three-point line, it was too big a mountain to climb.

Sydney Comets (113) defeated Hills Hornets (94)
The Sydney Comets secured a Wednesday night win against the Hills Hornets 113-94 at the Comets Stadium.
Sydney showcased a strong game led by Biwali Bayles who dropped a massive 35 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and shooting an impressive 61.9 percent from the field. The Comets dominated inside, outscoring the Hornets with 60 points in the paint and grabbing 47 boards.

On the other side, the Hills Hornets struggled to keep up. Despite a strong showing from Liam Moss who scored 23 points, the Hornets couldn’t match the Comets’ scoring efficiency, shooting only 41.3 percent from the field compared to the Comets’ 53.8 percent. The team's leading scorer, Chris Bryant, was held to only 10 points and shooting 2/12 from the field -- off the back of Obiri Kyei's elite defensive performance.
