The two Sunday matches to close Anzac Round in the NBL1 North took place at Rowland Cowan Stadium with eh Southern Districts Spartans women winning 72-46 before the Sunshine Coast Phoenix men scored the 80-73 victory.

Southern Districts Spartans (72) defeated Sunshine Coast Phoenix (46)
The Southern Districts Spartans made it three consecutive wins by beating the winless Sunshine Coast Phoenix 72-46 on Sunday afternoon.
The Spartans were back home at Rowland Cowan Stadium playing their only game of Anzac Round up against a Phoenix team just trying to be competitive following Saturday's 73-point defeat at the hands of the defending champion Northside Wizards.
It was a four-point lead to the fresh Spartans by the end of the first quarter before they took further control scoring eight consecutive points in the second period to open up a 14-point edge.
Southern Districts were then leading 33-23 at the half-time break with the advantage continuing to grow throughout the second half with the Spartans going up by 17 in the third term, and 29 in the fourth.
The Spartans ended up winning by 26 points to improve to a 3-1 record on the season with the Phoenix now 0-4 with an average losing margin of 43 points.
Alice Dart finished with 21 points on 9/18 shooting in the win for Southern Districts with Maddy Allen contributing 16 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Mackenzie Clinch Hoycard added 11 points, five boards, two assists and two steals, Kalani Purcell 10 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and two steals, and Erin Harvey six points, three boards and two assists.
It was another tough outing for the Phoenix with Carlie Smith battling hard for 15 points, 17 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
The Spartans are back at home again next Sunday to the Brisbane Capitals while the Phoenix don't play again until being away to the North Gold Coast Seahawks on Friday May 10.

Southern Districts Spartans (73) lost to Sunshine Coast Phoenix (80)
The Sunshine Coast Phoenix made it the perfect Anzac Round with a second win for the weekend beating the Southern Districts Spartans 80-73.
The Spartans were playing their only game of Anzac Round on Sunday at home at Rowland Cowan Stadium hosting a Phoenix team fresh off beating the Northside Wizards on Saturday.
Brisbane Bullets NBL centre Tyrell Harrison was providing Southern Districts a strong inside presence and helped his team to an early five-point lead on the back of a 10-0 scoring run.
But by the end of the first quarter and scores were back level at 18-18 with the contest remaining a tight one leading into half-time where it was the Spartans narrowly leading 35-34.
It was in the third quarter where Sunshine Coast blew the game open, though, with the visitors outscoring the home team 24 points to 12 to end up leading by as much as 16 points in the final period.
The Phoenix would hold on for the seven-point victory from there which gives them two wins for the weekend and three wins in-a-row to improve to a 3-1 record on the season at the end of Round 3.
The Spartans are now 1-3 with back-to-back losses under coach Peter Crawford with Jarred Bairstow also on deck as captain on the back of being part of the NBL championship at the Tasmania JackJumpers.
Jamaal Robateau had a starring role in the win for Sunshine Coast with 27 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals on the back of shooting 9/15 from the floor and 7/11 at the foul line.
Kobe McDowell-White added 18 points, eight assists and seven rebounds, Jeryn Lucas 14 points and three assists, and Duon Dawam nine points, eight boards and two blocked shots.
Tyrell Harrison did all he could to keep Southern Districts in the contest with 27 points, 13 rebounds and three steals on 12/17 shooting from the floor.
Jarred Bairstow added 13 points and 17 rebounds, Mason Honeyman nine points and three boards, and Nick Fee eight points and five assists.
The Spartans are back at home again next Sunday to the Brisbane Capitals while the Phoenix don't play again until being away to the North Gold Coast Seahawks on Friday May 10.
