Redback stars returns for 2024

Perth Redbacks superstar Tevin Jackson is back for the 2024 NBL1 season.

After leading his team to the Preliminary Finals, he will return to be the face of the Redbacks for another season.

In the 2023 season, he averaged 17.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and two assists. With nine 20+ points per game, Jackson has been one of the key scorers in the conference for multiple seasons. 

He was selected for the NBL1 West Select Team to play against the Perth Wildcats, where he scored 11 points and eight points in the two games of the NBL pre-season.

Redbacks coach Charles Nix said that Jackson could be even better in 2024.

"It was a priority for us to re-sign Tevin after what I believe has been Tevin’s best season since returning to Perth from college,” he said on social media.

“He led from the front and really stood up on both sides of the ball when we needed it. I still don’t think we’ve seen the best of him yet so I’m excited to see what he can bring, both from a playing point of view as well as leadership, in season 2024.

"Tevin really developed in his captaincy role and will only continue to be more impactful in this area. His length, athleticism and shot-making ability give other teams a match-up problem as well as his ability to play and guard multiple positions. Tevin is an integral part of who we are and I can’t wait to get to work with him again."
