The RedCity Roar have signed Penelope Lynch and Sesilia Tupi as development players for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North season.
Lynch and Tupi will mainly feature at QSL level but if the opportunity arises, will suit up for the Roar in NBL1 North.
RedCity Women's Coach Cassie Dover is pleased to have the duo commit to the team.
"Both girls have come off a strong QSL and U21 campaign for RedCity in 2021," Dover said.
"Sesi has a natural talent I have not seen in many girls, she is not overly aware of the abilities she has so we will continue to grow her IQ and her strength against the big girls and I have no doubt she will continue on the upward rise she has been over the last 12 months.
"Penny is an absolute athlete and over the past four months especially, she has really shown what she is capable of both inside and outside on offence, but also her nose for the ball on defence, so I look forward to honing in on her skillset and getting her ready for NBL1 too.
"I believe these two won’t have long until they cement a spot in NBL1.
"I am excited to see how they go this year.
"They will be the future of our program no doubt."
