Richmond to bring the Thunder in NBL1 South

The North West Thunder have signed big man Ben Richmond for the 2021 NBL1 South season.

Richmond returns to the team after an Aussie rules football break. He last played with the Thunder in 2018, notching his 50^th SEABL/NBL1 game during the course of that season.

Richmond, a former AIS scholarship holder, has also played more than 120 games in the domestic NWBU competition and will coach Somerset this season.

Richmond is set to be an excellent rebounder, significant offensive threat and a tireless worker on the defensive end for Nick Haywood’s men.

North West have signed Richmond, Mason Bragg, Kyle Clark, Taran Armstrong, Joe Chilcott and Paul Campbell for the forthcoming season.
