Riley Returns Home for NBL1 2024

The Eltham Wildcats are thrilled to welcome back club junior Erin Riley for the 2024 NBL1 South Season. After two successful seasons in NBL1 North with the North Gold Coast Seahawks, Erin is set to bring her talent and leadership back to where her basketball journey began.

“I’m excited to be back at my club where my basketball journey started, and to be returning after being in NBL1 North for the past 2 years,” expressed Riley.

“I really respect Matt as a coach and the coaching staff we got. Looking forward to the season ahead with the group of girls we have.”

Riley averaged 13.9ppg and 7rpg for the North Gold Coast Seahawks in 2023 and will be a key addition to the squad for the upcoming season according to coach Matt Bongetti.

“It is great to have Erin back at Eltham this season. Erin is a high-quality player who has been able to fit into our group seamlessly both on and off the floor. Her ability to shoot and pass the ball at an elite level will be exciting to watch throughout the season.”

You can see Erin and former Wildcat junior and new recruit Ally Bates in action when the season tips off on April 6^th at Montmorency Secondary College against local rivals the Diamond Valley Eagles.
