Robbi Ryan re-signs with Wolves

NBL1 West First Team member and Joondalup Wolves superstar Robbi Ryan is back for NBL1 2023.

NBL1 West First Team member and Joondalup Wolves superstar Robbi Ryan is back for NBL1 2023.

She led the Wolves in their historic win streak and to their regular season record of 18-2, while averaging 20 points, 6.4 rebounds and five assists

Through her success in the NBL1, she was recruited by the Perth Lynx. In her last game, she showed glimpses of her stardom with the Wolves, scoring 13 points in the win over Sydney

Robbi Ryan said she’s excited to return to build on last season’s success.

“I’m looking forward to rejoining the Wolves in 2023,” she said.

“To build on what we accomplished last season. It is a great organisation and even better community to be a part of.”

2022 NBL1 Women’s Head Coach of the Year Marcus Wong is ready to reimplement Ryan into his system.

“It is great to have Robbi back with the Wolves for next season, she is not only a quality player but a quality individual as well,” he said.

“She has a great ability to play out of Pick and Roll actions and stretches the floor from 3-point range.

“She had a fantastic season last year which was unfortunately hampered by a late injury, and I am excited to see what she can bring after playing in the WNBL for a season with the Lynx.”
