Rockets set to launch with signings of star 36ers duo

The North Adelaide Rockets have stamped themselves as playoffs contenders in NBL1 Central with the signings of star Adelaide 36ers duo Jack McVeigh and Sunday Dech. 

Both players are having stellar seasons in the NBL, with McVeigh averaging 9.6 points and 2.4 rebounds and Dech racking up numbers of 9.9 and 3.3. 

Dech also spent time representing Australia at the most recent FIBA Asia World Cup qualifiers while McVeigh last represented his nation at the 2017 World University Games. 

Before being recruited to the 36ers, McVeigh dominated for North Adelaide, averaging a whopping 24.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists. 

For Dech, this will be his first time in a Rockets singlet, having previously spent time with the Rockingham Flames and East Perth Eagles before his NBL berth.
