The Rockingham Flames will welcome back Ariana Hetherington and Paris Duffield for the 2022 NBL1 West season.

Hetherington had a major impact in the Flames' 2019 Grand Final win and captained the side in 2021.

She said she was "super excited to be back for another season" at her home club.

"The 2021 season taught us a lot, making me even hungrier for a bigger and better 2022 for the girls and the club!"

Duffield also had a big impact on Rockingham's 2019 Grand Final win and is back to do it all again in 2022.

As a role model for the younger Flames, Duffield said she was thrilled to return to NBL1 West level.

"I'm really excited to be back and hungry to win another championship for the club," she said.

On the men's side of things, young gun Harri Bowater will get his chance at NBL1 West level next year.

He said he was excited to see where the league could take him.

"I'm really keen to be joining the club and getting things started," Bowater said.

"After seeing how close the team got last year, it's going to be exciting to see what we can do.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing all the new faces and getting things underway."
