The Darwin Salties have signed Donovan Russell, Jessica Boundy and Jarrod Molnar for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North season.
Russell comes across from the North Gold Coast Seahawks and has a heap of potential, according to Men's Head Coach Matt Flinn.
"Donovan is looking for an opportunity and he will give us some depth and versatility across the three and four spots," Flinn said.
"In trials, he shot the ball well, competed hard and has a great attitude."
Boundy is also another Seahawks convert, having had a successful season in North Gold Coast last year.
"We are really looking forward to welcoming Jess to the Darwin Salties," Women's Head Coach Rod Tremlett said.
"We feel she is a young player that is ready to take the next step in her basketball career after a successful QSL season with the Seahawks in 2021."
Molnar, like Russell, came up to Darwin for trials on the hunt for an opportunity.
With experience playing basketball in Illawarra, Flinn is looking forward to having Molnar as part of the team.
"What stood out to me (about Molnar) was how hungry he is to become the best player he can be," Flinn said.
"He is diligent at working on all facets of his game and he will be pushing hard to play a big role within the group."
