The Frankston Blues have announced that Samara Hill has recommitted to play for the Blues in the upcoming NBL1 South 2021 Season.
Following the cancellation of the 2020 NBL1 South Season, Hill’s commitment has been rolled over to begin this upcoming season.
In 2019 Hill played for Sandringham Sabres averaging 5.3 points, playing 19 minutes per game.
Head Coach Belinda Snell spoke about Hill’s return.
“We look forward to having Samara represent Blues this season,” Snell said.
“Samara has great IQ and a very competitive attitude and will be an asset to have at our club.”
Hill spoke about her recommitment.
“I’m more than excited to be back home at Frankston for the upcoming NBL1 season,” Hill said.
“To play under great athletes such as Snelly and Jo is a privilege that I aim to take full advantage of this year.
“We have a competitive young team and a positive culture which will carry us throughout the season.
"Above all, I’m looking forward to getting back into games and having the support of the Blues community once again.”
