Samuels signs with Centrals

The Central Districts Lions have announced their second women's signing for the 2022 NBL1 Central season, securing the signature of former Gold Coast Rollers star Casey Samuels. 

Samuels is currently a development player with the UC Capitals and has also had experience with Townsville, University of Sydney and the AIS, as well as representing Australia at U19 level. 

She showcased her skills in NBL1 North in 2021 with averages of 18 points, seven rebounds and two assists. 

Samuels joins fellow new face Raynisha Washington on the Lions' roster, paving the way for the club to make a move up the ladder next year.
