Shakera Reilly | Signs For OneFortyOne Mount Gambier Pioneers Season 2022

The Pioneers women’s 2022 roster is continuing to take shape with popular player, Shakera Reilly re-signing for a further year as a Pioneer. Reilly joins 2021 Captain Jasmin Howe, Johanna Jones, Sherrie Calleia and Sophie Miles all having committed to be OneFortyOne Pioneers for another year. A tremendous start to the Pioneers recruitment.

Head Coach Matt Sutton can’t wait to get back to work with Reilly.

"It is great to have Shakera recommit for 2022. She was our best defensive player last season and brings a lot of versatility to our group at both ends of the court.

Shak is a natural leader who connects well with her teammates and is loved by our community.  She sets a great example with her work rate and a no fuss attitude to her hoops," Sutton said.

Averaging almost 34 minutes court time each game in 2021, Reilly contributed 11.53 points per game shooting 35.53% from the field with 5.46 rebounds per game.
