Sherrie Calleia | Signs For OneFortyOne Mount Gambier Pioneers Season 2022

The OneFortyOne Pioneers continue to build a strong roster for 2022 with Sherrie Calleia the latest player to re-sign for the 2022 NBL1 South Season.

A twenty-two year old Guard, Calleia averaged just over 35 minutes court time each game in her debut season in the NBL1 in 2021 returning an average of 14.84 points per game at 45.03% from the field, 4.61 assists and 4.30 rebounds. 

Calleia was a fan favourite and Mount Gambier Pioneers supporters will be excited to learn of her return for 2022.

Head Coach Matt Sutton was thrilled that Calleia has resigned commenting that she is a fantastic person within the community and sets a great example for the younger players with her work rate and competitiveness.

"Shez is always evolving and working at different aspects of her game.

Her ability to push the ball and play downhill makes her a very dangerous player and a highly entertaining player for our fans, " Sutton said.
