Slammers Seek NBL1 Women’s Head Coach for 2026

Mark Edman has advised the South West Slammers he will be unable to continue as Head Coach of our NBL1 Women’s team in 2026. The club acknowledges his time with the program and remains committed to providing strong leadership and support for our women’s playing group as we look ahead to 2026 and beyond.

The Slammers are now inviting nominations from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to take up a 2 +1 year coaching position with our NBL1 Women's team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented group of athletes, make a positive impact on the program, and contribute to the ongoing growth of women’s basketball in our region.
