Kilsyth made their move in the third quarter with 28 points to 15 on the back of shooting 9/13 from the field and 7/9 at the foul line opposed to just 7/21 and 1/2 for Ballarat.

The win improves the Cobras to an 11-8 record on the season to remain solid in a playoff spot with Dillon Stith finishing with 20 points, six rebounds, five assists and two blocks on return from the 3x3 FIBA World Cup with the Australian Gangurrus in Mongolia.

Khadim Sy added 20 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks, Adrian Tomada 13 points, four boards and four assists, and Corey Jeffs 10 points, eight rebounds and two steals.

The Miners are now just clinging to a finals spot at 10-8 with Tasmania JackJumpers guard Nick Stoddart producing 24 points, four rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks.

Majok Majok also had 15 points and 14 rebounds, Mackuei Puondak 14 points and four boards, and Luke Rosendale 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.

Herbert knocked down a three ball in response to return Geelong to the lead before Samuel put the Frankston back in front, and then the Blues were up by three when Tom Garrett scored on a putback after an offensive rebound.
