The Darwin Salties have added Joshua Spiers and Erin Bollman to their inaugural Coles Express NBL1 North rosters.
Spiers played for the Townsville Heat in the league last year but will be making the move back to Darwin after formerly suiting up in the Darwin Basketball League.
Speaking about Spiers' signing, men's head coach Matt Flinn said: "I am really excited to coach Josh.
"I have followed his career for some time and tracked him thoroughly when I was in the NBL and he was in college.
"I feel like his best basketball is ahead of him and he will provide us with a legitimate stretch guy on the floor.
"He is a key ingredient to the style of basketball we want to play.
"Off the floor, he will be invaluable to establishing our culture with his professional attitude and diligence to his craft and will be beneficial for all of us."
Bollman is an experienced player who has played at the elite level in both traditional and 3x3 basketball.
In 2019, she won the Big V MVP and is a former NCAA Division 1 player at SouthEast Missouri.
Most recently, she has been working in the NBA G League as a coaching associate with the Santa Cruz Warriors.
Speaking about Bollman's signing, women's head coach Rod Tremlett said: "We are very fortunate to have secured Erin's services this year.
"She has an outstanding basketball resume and we look forward to welcoming her back to Australia and to the Top End this season.
"I know Erin will become a crowd favourite with her professional and tenacious approach to the game."
