Sturt duo commit to Mayville State University

Sturt Sabres duo Sebastian Griffin and Taine Mitchell have committed to continue their basketball careers at Mayville State University in North Dakota. 

Griffin has featured in four games for the Sabres while Mitchell has featured in three. 

Representing SA Metro at U16 and U18 levels, Griffin achieved rare feats at both levels, making both teams as a bottom-ager and then captaining both teams as a top-ager. 

Mitchell has had similar success at national level, winning the U14 Championship and coming second at U18 level as well as winning two Melbourne Classics along the way. 

Griffin and Mitchell join fellow teammate Ben Griscti in committing to college. 

The Sturt Sabres return to action after the Queen's Birthday long weekend when they take on the Southern Tigers at home.
