Abby Rothnie has joined the Eastern Suns for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 West season.
Women's Head Coach Tim Rendulic was delighted to offer the young gun a chance to compete at the elite level.
"We’re really excited to offer Abby her first contract at an NBL1 level," Rendulic said.
"She’s young, committed, strong for her age and a product of our Summit Academy high-performance program.
"She’s quietly gone about her business during the pre-season whilst impressing her teammates and coaching staff with her work rate, willingness to learn and positive attitude.
"Abby still has much to learn, but she’s got all the tools coupled with the right players for her to learn and develop positive habits from, that will see her have a long and successful career over the coming years."
