Tana Kopa Signs with Keilor Thunder for 2026

Keilor Thunder have secured one of the nation’s most electric perimeter talents, signing Tana Kopa for the NBL1 South 2026 season.

The 23-year-old arrives from the Willetton Tigers (NBL1 West), where he delivered a standout 2025 campaign, averaging 14.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 60.6% on twos, 44.4% from three and 80.6% at the line across 15 games.

A Willetton junior, Kopa has long been regarded as one of the purest natural shooters in the country. His rise began immediately upon returning from college, where he delivered several explosive scoring performances — including eight three-pointers in a game and multiple clutch moments that pushed him into NBL conversations.

Kopa’s confidence, shooting versatility and ability to impact games in bunches made him a central figure for Willetton in 2025, continuing a trajectory that began in his NCAA years and has only accelerated since his return to Australia.
