The Gold Coast Rollers won the NBL1 North and will be a dangerous side in the Coles Express NBL1 National Final.

Gold Coast were the best team all season, finishing with an 18-5 record. Despite not claiming the minor premiership, they stood up when it mattered most in the NBL1 North Finals. They escaped with a two-point win in overtime in the quarter-finals against Logan and in the Semi-Finals, they beat the stacked Northside Wizards by 23 points.

The Rollers took down USC Rip City in two games in the NBL1 North Grand Finals series, with superstar Jason Cadee averaging 29.5 points and 10.5 assists in the series.

The team is absolutely stacked with talent, not only with Cadee, but also Bullets teammates Tanner Krebs and DJ Mitchell. Two-time All-NBL First Team member Lamar Patterson rounds out a squad full of superstars.

The Rollers will be without their NBL talent, due to Bullets commitments, but Patterson and young gun Preston Le Gassick will be a formidable duo - the 19-year-old averaged over 14 points per game in the regular season.

Patterson will be the target of the Hobart Chargers defence, as he averaged 15 points in the two-game Grand Final series and is the definition of a natural-scorer.

The Rollers will face the NBL1 South champions the Hobart Chargers on Friday.
