The Wolfpack secure a home game win before Kalgoorlie road trip

The Joondalup Wolves get the win on Van Kailis Court behind a strong team effort across the board. The Pack scored 85 total points, beating the Slammers 85-45.
The Wolves opened a 25-point lead early and didn’t look back. Sarah Toeaina continued her hot start to the season, leading the Wolves with 24 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Darien Huff had 19 points, six boards, four assists and three steals, Laniesha Paddon 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals, and Julia Chandler seven points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots.
The men built an early lead in a home victory
The Joondalup Wolves continue to showcase their talent and depth in a strong start to the season, amplified by dominant performances from CJ Turnage. The Wolfpack were back home on Van Kailis Court, HBF Arena to host a revamped Slammers team who beat the Cockburn Cougars a day prior on Friday to open Round 2.
Joondalup started the game hot with a fast break dunk from CJ Turnage assisted by Ethan Elliott. The Wolves opened a 23-17 advantage by quarter-time. before leading 59-46 at the half on the back of 36 points to 29 in the second period.
CJ Turnage put up 38 points last Thursday against the Redbacks and backed that up against the Slammers with another 35 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals which earned him a Footlocker Player of the Week Award.
Christian Jurlina also finished with 17 points, five rebounds and three assists, Ethan Elliott 14 points and seven assists, Caleb Davis 13 points and 12 rebounds, Jordan Wellsteed 10 points and four boards, and Victor Chadinha seven points and eight rebounds.
The Wolfpack head to Kalgoorlie next Saturday to play the Goldfields Giants at 8pm local time via NBL1.com.au or the NBL1 App. The Slammers host the Geraldton Buccaneers on Saturday night too.
