Three-time NBL champion and current Illawarra Hawk Wani Swaka Lo Buluk has signed with the Darwin Salties for the 2024 NBL1 North season.
Swaka Lo Buluk been one of the best two-way defenders in the country, averaging 20 minutes per game and shooting 30 percent from outside the arc for the Playoffs team.

Last season Swaka Lo Buluk played 10 games for the NBL1 East’s Sydney Comets, averaging 19.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and two assists for the team’s inaugural season.
“I’m super excited to be a part of this organisation,” Swaka Lo Buluk told the Salties.
“What they have going on in Darwin is something special and I’m glad that I get to be a part of that. My goal is to win a championship and with the pieces we have, I think we will.”
While head coach Matt Flinn added that he believes the NBL champion will bring a level of fear to opponents this season.
"He is a great defender, and with his long arms and reach, he will make life very difficult for our opponents,” he said.
“He makes opponents nervous to shoot and can shut them down."
The club also announced that basketball icon Nathan Jawai has re-signed with the club, joining the NBL’s Most Improved Player Sean MacDonald and Noi’s Sydney teammate Makuach Maluach.
