Tom Garrett returns to the court

Frankston Blues (FDBA) would like to take the time to acknowledge NBL1 and Youth League player Tom Garrett.

Tonight Tommy will play his first game of basketball in well over a year, following two surgeries on his knee.

While off the court Tom has he has Head Coached our Frankston Blues 2013-Born Boys and Under 20 Men, both to a Grand Final in 2022, while not missing a single Senior Men's training or game.

He has been nothing less than an outstanding role model for the youth of our club.

NBL1 Mens Head Coach Andrew Harms spoke about Tom’s return.

"Tommy personifies what we as a club try to work towards every day - professional, competitive, community/club focused and a better person than he is a basketballer."

"Tommy has had a trying 12 months with his body, but his mindset and belief have ensured that his return was never in doubt."

"We can’t wait to see Tommy regain his status in the senior men’s program because high-character, resilient people like him will continue to push our club to a higher ceiling."
