Former NBL1 star Louella Tomlinson has called time on her incredible career.
As a Melbourne Tigers junior, Tomlinson moved through the system to play SEABL and then NBL1.
She played 16 games for the Tigers in the 2019 season and averaged over 15 points and seven rebounds per game.
The 33-year-old also played WNBL with the Dandenong Rangers, West Coast Waves, Perth Lynx, Melbourne Boomers, Bendigo Spirit, Southside Flyers and Adelaide Lightning.
Her accolades include winning a championship with the Rangers in 2012 and Hungarian team PINKK-Pecsi 424.
Tomlinson took to Instagram to announce that she was hanging up the singlet.
"Basketball gave me the opportunity to travel the world, see the world from a different perspective, meet some incredible people, incredible mentors, give me some incredible friends and family all over the world," she said.
"It allowed me to show coaches who believed I couldn't that in fact, I could, it gave me an amazing education, made me a champion, a Hall of Fame inductee and a representative of my country.
"Those are things I will always be proud of!
"While 2020 was one of the hardest years for most, five months off an actual basketball court for the first time in my life gave me time... time to realise that the girl who was once worried about the life after basketball and what that would look like, was actually prepared and ready.
"Leaving basketball doesn't have to be the end of the book, just the end of a chapter and I'm excited for that next one!"
