Truman stays true to Ringwood

The Ringwood Hawks have re-signed Nathan Truman for the 2021 NBL1 South season.

The six-year Hawks veteran enters the new season with an extra layer of appreciation after the 2020 campaign was ripped away due to COVID-19.

“When NBL1 2020 was officially cancelled, I started wondering if maybe I had played my last game of NBL1 basketball,” Truman said.

“There was so much uncertainty around and I guess there still a bit around today. You miss the game obviously but the competitiveness and battles we have at trainings are a huge part of playing at Ringwood.

“It did not take long for me to miss the guys and I still think I have something to offer.”

Truman joins fellow Hawks mainstays Matt Snow and Matt Fennell on the 2021 roster.
