NBL1 South All-Star Five member Tyler Rudolph has re-signed with the Ballarat Miners for two more seasons.
The North Dakotan came to Australia and dominated the NBL1 South competition -- with a conference-high of 25.2 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals with seven 30+ point games.
Highlighted in a three-game stretch, the star centre averaged 36 points against Eltham, Geelong United and Diamond Valley.
The Miners finished one game out of the Finals, only falling out by percentage against the Hobart Chargers and the eighth-placed Waverley Falcons.
Commenting on the signing, Ballarat basketball great Ray Borner said he’s the sort of player other clubs would have had an eye on.
“He’s a good player, good bloke, fits into the community, fits into the style of what Luke (Sunderland) wants them to play like, so it’s all a good thing,” Borner said via 3BA.
