Williams wins unanimous Halls Medals vote

Sturt Sabres star Mikayla Williams has been named the unanimous Halls Medallist (MVP) for the 2023 NBL1 Central season.

Going back-to-back in Halls medals, she becomes the second player to go back-to-back since Deanna Smith in 2003 and 2004.

The Sabres completed the regular season undefeated, going 18-0 as one of two undefeated teams in the entire NBL1 competition this season.

For the season Williams averaged 18.5 points, 11.5 rebounds in 17 games for the Sabres.
