Wilson and Basham to unite at Norwood in 2022

The Norwood Flames will welcome back superstar Alex Wilson and former Forestville star Brooke Basham to their NBL1 Central women's side in 2022. 

Wilson has re-signed after a huge individual 2021 campaign, averaging 23.43 points, 5.75 assists and 10.25 rebounds per game. 

She will be joined by her partner Basham in 2022, with the latter putting up averages of 18.78 points, 2.71 assists and 4.92 boards with the Eagles last year. 

The duo join Shaun Pontifex and Luca Barei in signing for the Flames ahead of the 2022 season. 

Pontifex played nine games for Norwood last year while Barei featured in eight games and averaged nearly four points.
