The Brisbane Capitals have re-signed Ben Wilson and Steph Collins for the 2022 NBL1 North season.
Wilson is a Brisbane Capitals junior and the current NBL1 men's team captain.
He is a versatile player and has the ability to contribute and execute on both ends of the court.
Wilson leads from the front, competes for each single possession and upholds our Capitals values on and off the court.
"It’s amazing to have Ben back for his seventh season with Capitals," coach Andrea Gjinaj said.
"He is a true captain as he fully represents the Caps, our culture and values, on the court and off the court.
"He is a person that can be inspiring for young ages.
"Ben allows us to be a much more versatile team on both ends of the court and he brings a true leadership quality to our group.
"I'm looking forward to seeing him again on the court with a freer and more offensive mindset helping the team win."
Collins is a major signing for Brisbane's 2022 squad and has contributed to the Caps community on and off the court.
She is a double-double threat every time she takes the court and is an important defensive player.
Collins has been involved in coaching at one of Brisbane's junior clubs, Pioneers, and was assistant coach of the U18 Girls Gold team.
"Steph's athleticism and experience is rarely found in our league and we are excited by her willingness to lead by example," Capitals women's coach Michael Van Dongen said.
"She has been fantastic at giving back to the club and contributes to our junior programs.
"She was a priority signing for us and we are thrilled to have her back."
