Winter signs with Warriors in NBL1 Central

The Woodville Warriors have signed Emily Winter for the 2021 NBL1 Central season.

Winter last played at this level in the 2019 Premier League with the Mount Gambier Pioneers, where she averaged 11.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

Woodville coach Paul La Mott believes Winter fills a much-needed role for the Warriors in 2021.

"Emily brings a high basketball IQ, strong rebounding and inside scoring presence for our club,” La Mott said via the club’s Facebook page.

“She makes us more versatile on both ends of the floor. We look forward to watching her game grow. We've worked hard to get our team culture in order. I believe Emily will be a great fit for us in all areas."
