Witter Smith signs with Panthers

The South Adelaide Panthers have announced the signing of Phoebe Witter Smith for the 2021 NBL1 Central season. 

Witter Smith is a key signing for the Panthers this 2021 season after being a part of the Panthers Premier League team for a number of seasons. Witter Smith will add much needed height along with physicality and strong rebounding ability to this year’s team.

Witter Smith was a South Junior and has now transitioned through the club to the pinnacle - the women’s NBL1 team.

Witter Smith is also assistant coach with our Girls Under 14 Div1 team this season.

“I am very excited to be playing another season at South," Witter Smith said.

"The team is full of women who are amazing both on and off court. I feel very lucky to have such good teammates and coaches to learn from and push each other to get better.

"I am looking forward to seeing where the season takes us and hopefully make the South community proud."
