The Woodville Warriors have signed Isabella Musci, James Boonstoppel, Devon McGee, Zali Turner and Katherine Perkas for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 Central season.
Even with an interrupted season due to injury, Turner has shown dedication and persistence to get back to full strength.
Her reliable long-range shooting is a big asset to the team.
Speaking about McGee, coach Scott Whitmore said: "The man in the middle will again anchor the defence for the Warriors in 2022, looking to build on averages of eight points and five rebounds (averages) from 2021."
Musci has shown determination and persistence in developing her basketball ability and this has led to her becoming more confident on the court, bringing great mid-range shooting aggression under the basket.
Speaking about Boonstoppel, coach Whitmore said: "'Boony' returns for another season after averaging 14 points per game and a career-high 3.3 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.
"His three-point shooting is up there with the best in the league."
Perkas brings great experience and leadership to the squad.
Her shooting and aggression inside has been an asset to the club, especially in the most recent NBL1 and Reserves season.
