Wormald Re-Signs | Player Re-Signing OneFortyOne Pioneers Season 2022

The OneFortyOne Pioneers continue to build a strong roster for the coming season with Maddy Wormald the latest player to re-sign for the 2022 NBL1 South Season.

Twenty-five year old Maddy Wormald has been a Pioneer since the Club first established a women’s team in 2019 and the Club is delighted Maddy is returning to the Icehouse in 2022.

Head Coach Matt Sutton expressed his enthusiasm for having Wormald back in the roster for this season.

“It is great to have Maddy back involved with the group, she's been an important part of our program since we began in 2019.

Maddy is an extremely tough player that can stretch the floor with her shooting. She also has a keen eye for development and communicates well with our younger players,” Sutton said.

The OneFortyOne Pioneers and the Castec Rural Pioneers will commence their 2022 NBL1 South campaigns in April 2022.
