Yanni Wetzell Not Playing for Raiders in NBL1 2021

NBL big man Yanni Wetzell will not play for the Knox Raiders in this years NBL1 season. Wetzell is instead heading home to New Zealand to spend time with family.

Knox Basketball would like to thank Yanni for his communication throughout this process, and hope he enjoys his off season before suiting up for his second season in the NBL.

Wetzell’s South East Melbourne Phoenix team mate Rueben Te Rangi made his Raiders debut last weekend, in Knox’s win over the Ringwood Hawks.

This Saturday night, the Raiders will host Waverley at the State Basketball Centre. The women’s game begins at 5:30pm and the men at 7:30pm. You can purchase tickets via this link.
