The Central Districts Lions have unveiled Tracy York as their new NBL1 Central Men's Coach for the 2022 season.
York will have a dual role at the club, having also been appointed as Junior Coaching Director.
She is currently the head coach of the Bendigo Spirit in the WNBL and also leads the Australian U17 Women's team after coming through the ranks as an assistant.
Back home, York previously served as an Adelaide 36ers assistant coach, Adelaide Lightning head coach and Southern Tigers head coach.
She makes history as the first female to be appointed as head coach of a men's team in the NBL1 Central, ahead of the competition's second year.
York joins Southern Districts' Aja Parham as women who coach men's teams in the NBL1 competition.
