Youth League Women's

A disappointing day for the Youth Women’s team with a much changed Collingwood team from our encounter earlier this season, proving too strong.

Unfortunately, an undisciplined performance on the offensive end meant we were not able to put enough points on the board to stay within reach of Collingwood.

We were outplayed in this one and it didn't provide many positives but young Alice Renfree was a shining light scoring seven points and having two blocks, along with some great defensive pressure from her 11 minutes on the floor.

Time to work hard on the training track this week to prepare for an upcoming doubleheader.

Ballarat 53 - 66 Collingwood

Layla Iglesias 13 points and 12 rebounds. Maisy Hammond 12 points and 9 rebounds. Alice Renfree 7 points and 2 blocks.

Youth League Men

It was a tough one for the Youth Miners Men against a strong Keilor outfit. A game that showed some good patches of basketball early however, defensively the Miners struggled to contain Keilor’s Pick and Roll game. Ultimately going down to the Thunder.

Ballarat 55 - Keilor 76

Jacob Poyser: 16 points 4/6 from 3pt. Will Hynes: 11 points, 6 rebounds. Tor Tor: 9 points and 3 steals.
