Norths Bears crowned NBL1 East women's champions

The Norths Bears are the women's NBL1 East champions.

The Bears ended Manly Warringah's dominant run with a defensive master class, holding the Sea Eagles to only 27.4 per cent from the field and 56 points. 

Jolene Anderson was named the Finals MVP with 20 points, nine rebounds and four assists to claim the Bears the title.
