The RedCity Roar have gone on a signing spree, securing the signatures of Dan Cornwell, Alec Godinet, Aidan Graham, Bailey Graham, Kane Bishop and Ariana Moorer.
Cornwell has been a crowd favourite with RedCity fans.
He is immersed in the game locally and since he won the MVP of the SBL in 2019.
A promising 2020 QSL season was interrupted by an injury that kept him out of the inaugural 2021 NBL1 campaign but he has returned to secure his spot for 2022.
Moorer joins Carleigh Willie in crossing over from Gold Coast to RedCity and said this about joining the Roar: "I'm very grateful and excited to be joining the RedCity family.
"I’ve heard nothing but great things about the club and the people behind the scenes.
"Having played for Cass (Dover) previously and knowing what she is all about, it was a no-brainer to come back and play for her again."
Coach Dover added: "Ari is someone that was top of my list to bring to RedCity and be able to coach again.
"Not only is she a great player, but I also love her tenacity and desire to always improve on her game.
"She is an absolute all-around talent with her ability to score but also get her teammates open as well as crash the boards.
"She will be able to come in and help our young ones understand the control of the game too which I think our whole group will benefit from.
"I am really excited to work with Ari again and hopefully get us one further than last time we teamed up."
Godinet is familiar with coach Colby Stefanovic and the way he coaches and what he expects from his players.
He will bring a familiar face to help build the team understanding of what is required at NBL1 level.
Bishop is another player familiar with coach Stefanovic, having played for him while at Ipswich.
He is a great team fit with years of NBL1 experience and is a team-first player who can contribute efficiently and bring a competitive edge to the group.
Roar fans saw glimpses of Aidan and Bailey Graham in 2021 and what they can bring to the team, so expect some fireworks from the duo in 2022.
