The reigning NBL1 North Youth Player of the Year Roman Siulepa has won back-to-back MVPs at the U20’s Nationals tournament in Ballarat.
Siulepa is the first player to win the award two years in a row since Patty Mills, as the 18-year-old continues to join the elite company.
Averaging a tournament-high 28.1 points and scoring a ridiculous 41 points against ACT, the South West Metro Pirates star is set for a breakout season in 2025.
The NBL1 North prodigy led his team to back-to-back Grand Finals. However, the rematch was hampered this year as Siulepa left the game with a foot injury just before half-time, finishing with only 12 points.
Last year Queensland lost by two points on the buzzer as National Champion Austin Rapp gave Victoria glory in the final seconds.
The NBL1 North starts on May 1st. Stay up-to-date with all the latest signings via the Roster Tracker here.
