Arthur and Thew return to Northside

The Northside Wizards have re-signed Jacob Arthur and Cameron Thew for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Last season in the QSL, Thew averaged over 15 points and finished top five in the league for total rebounds, averaging 9.18 a game. The big man, who is known for his touch around the rim, shot the ball at over 60 percent from the field.

"Cam proved to be a handful for other teams last season and has been adding to his game during the break," coach Nick Roberts said.

Arthur is also coming off a hot QSL season where he averaged 10.5 points per game and was extremely efficient from the three-point line (39 percent) and the field (55 percent). 

"It's so good to have Jake back, he is a great example of one of our juniors making the transition into senior rep basketball, I think he can continue on from his strong finish last season,” Roberts said.
