The Albury-Wodonga Bandits have re-signed talented local youngster Casey Ardern for the 2021 NBL1 South season.
“It’s exciting to have local product Casey back at the Bandits for another year as she prepares for her four-year stint at Montana State University,” coach Matt Paps said.
“It was a shame for Casey that the 2020 season was cancelled as I felt she was primed to show her improvement after her season under Lauren Jackson and working with Nat Hurst.
“She has been putting in a lot of work over the past few months and has continued to improve each week.”
Ardern appeared in 15 games for Albury-Wodonga last season and is set to take up a bigger role with the club when the 2021 campaign begins on April 17 against Ballarat.
