Bayes returns to Logan Thunder

The Logan Thunder have announced the return of Dani Bayes for the 2021 NBL1 North Season.

The Logan Thunder have announced the return of Dani Bayes for the 2021 NBL1 North Season.

Bayes is a Logan Thunder junior who has progressed through their program, winning the Mikhaela Donnelly Logan Thunder junior player of the year award twice.

Bayes averaged 13 points last season in the QSL.

"Dani has grown immensely ever since she's been part of our senior program from 2019 and we couldn't be more excited to have her back this year,” coach Brayden Heslehurst said.

“She will play a bigger role this year as we look to continue to develop our local products around our senior core of Mikhaela Cann, Ash Taia, Mikaela Ruef and Chevannah Paalvast.

“Dani in my opinion is one of the best shooters going around in the country right now and is an absolute star of the future.

“She has an incredible work ethic and that, along with her ability to improve in the areas she has needed to in recent times is what has impressed me the most and we look forward to her playing a major role in our quest to win an NBL1 title this year.”
