Chelsea D'Angelo joins the Frankston Blues

The Frankston Blues have announced that Chelsea D’Angelo will join their Women's team for the remainder of the 2021 NBL1 South season.

Chelsea returns to the Blues having previously played with the club in the 2017 SEABL season.

Her return to the court comes off the back of having recently completed her recovery from an injury sustained during pre-season with the Melbourne Boomers (WNBL) in July 2020.

Her playing background also includes Australian FIBA representation at FIBA U17 Oceania Championships, 2017 (Gold Medal) and Under 19 World Cup, 2019 (Silver Medal).

Head Coach Belinda Snell spoke about the addition of Chelsea to the team.

“I’m looking forward to seeing Chelsea back on court,” Snell said.

“Chelsea is an exciting young player and will help us strengthen our guard rotation and will be a great asset for the Blues.”
