CoE star Princepal Singh earns Breakers DP contract

Former NBL1 Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence (CoE) star Princepal Singh has earned his first NBL contract. 

The 20-year-old has signed on as a Development Player for the New Zealand Breakers, joining fellow NBL1 gun Will McDowell-White in pink this season. 

After featuring in seven games for the CoE in 2019, Singh has since been applying his trade for G-League Ignite, which is the same team fellow NBL1 star Dyson Daniels plays for. 

The 208cm forward also spent time at the NBL's Next Gen camp.

Singh had been drafted to the Stockton Kings for the upcoming G League season but decided to sign with the Breakers instead, highlighting the appeal of the competitive NBL.
