Dennis, Cooper sign with RedCity in NBL1 North

The RedCity Roar have signed Kian Dennis (men) and Jaylen Cooper (women) to their NBL1 North roster for the upcoming season.

Dennis is a 19-year-old, 6’5 guard who possesses explosive athleticism and an unmatched passion for the game. He is a former Brisbane Bullets development player and will look to use NBL1 as a springboard back into the NBL.

Cooper has strong bloodline links to RedCity, as her family have been instrumental in the running of one of RedCity Roar's foundation clubs, Bayside Basketball, and have been at the centre of building female participation at the youth level as well as coaching in the Capalaba Central Shopping Centre Roar Ready Schools Program.

Cooper played 17.3 minutes per game for the Roar in the 2020 QSL campaign while Dennis played for the Logan Thunder.
