Diop and Morris ready to roll for Gold Coast

The Gold Coast Rollers have re-signed experienced duo TJ Diop and Jaze Morris for the 2021 NBL1 North season. 

Diop captained the team last year and impressed with averages of 11.1 points and 4.5 rebounds. 

Before spending three seasons with the Rollers as well as stints at Mackay and Northside, Diop spent two years improving his craft in Seattle, playing 43 college games. 

Fellow veteran Morris is back for his fifth season in blue and green and comes off an impressive 2020 season. 

From 11 games, he averaged 13.8 points, which was a huge improvement on his 2019 numbers. 

Morris and Diop join Brisbane Bullets stars Anthony Drmic and Jason Cadee on the Rollers’ 2021 roster. 

They will begin their NBL1 campaign at home with a clash against the Ipswich Force on Saturday 15 May.
