Drennan returns to the Logan Thunder

The Logan Thunder have announced the return of Carla Drennan for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

The Logan Thunder have announced the return of Carla Drennan for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Originally from Willetton in Western Australian, Drennan attended California State University Northridge playing Division 1 NCAA in the Pac West before joining the Thunder for the 2020 Queensland State League Season.

“We are excited to have Carla return for NBL1 North after a strong QSL season building on her role in our Bendigo Bank Logan Thunder Women's 2020 Queensland State League championship,” Logan GM Mitch Young said.

“Carla joined the Thunder Family and immediately excelled in our playing group due to her high character and work ethic. Carla is a young guard whose best basketball is yet to come and we look forward to Carla's continued development playing alongside Mikhaela Cann and Ashley Taia.

“Our back court depth of Carla and Dani Bayes will see us have one of the best young back courts in the NBL1 North.”
