Experienced Mellars joins Pirates

The South West Metro Pirates have announced the signing of Charmian Mellars for the remainder of the 2021 NBL1 North season. 

Mellars has played at all levels of basketball including WNBL and QBL. 

She has also represented the Tall Ferns at the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics. 

With her wealth of experience, she will be an invaluable member of the South West Metro's roster. 

She will make her NBL1 North debut with the Pirates on Saturday night when they take on the Brisbane Capitals.
